Nurture self-love & growth with evidence-based self-compassion skills
You’re probably here because something feels stuck.
Maybe your reactions feel more intense lately, or you find yourself easily triggered by things that didn’t used to bother you.
You may have tried to manage it on your own—pushing through, staying busy, or telling yourself it’s not that bad—but something inside you knows: it’s time to try a different way.
If you tend to overthink or carry a harsh inner voice, chances are you’ve been holding a lot for a long time—stress, grief, transitions, relational pain.
You may long to be known more fully, but also feel the instinct to protect and hide parts of yourself, because vulnerability still feels like a risk.
That tension—the desire to be truly seen and the fear of what might happen if you are—is something we’ll approach together with care and respect.
You don’t have to carry it alone
In our work, we’ll explore where these patterns began and how they’ve served you, without judgment. We’ll meet them with compassion, curiosity, and a sense of responsibility—not blame—for how you move forward.
With greater self-compassion, clients often experience:
More resilience in the face of challenges
Reduced self-criticism and increased self-trust
Healthier relationships, rooted in self-worth
A gentler, more accepting relationship with themselves
The confidence to make aligned, empowered choices
Sustainable emotional healing—not just quick fixes
I work with individuals navigating:
Anxiety, overthinking, and chronic stress
A harsh inner critic, perfectionism, and people-pleasing
Relationship and dating challenges
Trauma and PTSD
Self-Esteem
Depression, including feelings of shame
Women navigating transitions, including aging
Burnout in leadership
a little bit About Me
At the heart of my work is self-compassion. I believe healing begins not with self-criticism or pushing yourself harder, but with learning how to relate to your pain—and yourself—with kindness.
So many people come to therapy feeling like they should be coping better, or that their struggles mean they’re somehow broken. The truth is, being human is hard. You are not alone in how you feel, and there is nothing wrong with you. Together, we’ll work on building a more supportive relationship with yourself, one rooted in acceptance, curiosity, and care.
Additional Specialties
Cognitive Processing Therapy for PTSD
I provide Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT) for individuals living with PTSD, integrating self-compassion throughout the process. CPT is a structured, evidence-based approach that helps you understand how trauma has shaped your thoughts and beliefs—and supports you in developing more balanced, supportive ways of thinking. Together, we work to reduce the distress tied to past experiences and help you move forward with greater clarity, confidence, and a sense of peace.
Faith & Spirituality Based Therapy
For clients who wish to integrate their faith or spiritual beliefs into therapy, I have specialized training in faith integration and am honored to incorporate this into our work.
Whether your faith is a source of strength, an area of struggle, or something you’re exploring, I offer a respectful and informed approach that supports your values and honors your unique journey.
